Emotional Release on a Ball

Many walk through their every day life unconsciously moving their body through regular patterns like walking, exercising, talking, unaware that the way they're moving isn't the way it was designed. This is often why and how we carry or contribute to pain in our body.

Lorrel Elian

Many people are unaware that their body has a natural and logical order to how it functions.
When it’s not used according to your body’s design, over time the misuse is how dis - ease, pain and dysfunction start showing up.

All the experiences you have in your life, shape how you walk, talk and feel, which further creates how you, and your body look. It’s a direct link to how your life looks.

Going to the gym, working out, having a yoga practice, all exercise is beneficial to your physical and emotional health. Although once you walk off the mat, or out of the gym, you generally walk back into your regular pattern. If you aren’t consciously aware of how you’re articulating your joints and using the natural logic of your body’s design, the patterns that shape you, remain.
Stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, joy, sensitivity and empathy will all look a certain way on, and in you.
Sound like a puzzle? Well you are.

The mysteries of your life are wrapped up in the package you call a body. Your body is the vessel that carries your soul through this lifetime.
I’m not a scientist, nor do I have a medical background. I have an amazing doctor who I rarely see and who has come to my body rolling workshops.
My expertise comes from a practical background in searching for solutions to what was causing the life long pain in my body. Decades of training and certifications in human physiology, anatomy, spirituality and studies on how our environment affects us.
Everything is energy and I am continually shown how much we have yet to learn about the depth of this truth. We interact with the electric currents that are in our space 24/7

Since 2008 I have been immersed in the mind body culture and community.

As a student, it was life altering to be front & center at trainings where mind and body transformations happened. At 42 I discovered I had a body!.
I was disconnected from body and didn’t even know. While having a difficult birthing experience that led to my first child being delivered cesarean, out of kindness, the nurse said “Just disconnect from what’s happening, we’ll take care of what’s going on down here”. And so I did.
20 years later after many more surgeries, I went through emergency surgery and had my uterus removed. The pain didn’t go away after the organ was no longer there.

Doctors were at a loss as to what more they could do for me.
My quality of life deteriorated and a critical diagnosis helped
me make the conscious choice to look at alternative methods.

I went down the rabbit hole and emerged with a new physical
form, a clear bill of health and a new career guiding others to
discover what I had learned was possible. By the time I was 50,
I felt I was just getting started

Psychosomatic therapy, yoga, sound therapy and feng shui are a
few of the strategies I’ve used to guide for many searching for
solutions often to questions they don’t know how to ask.

I found the most impactful tools for many are those that are simplified. They just do it. I took my first training with Yamuna Body Rolling in 2014. I knew YBR would be an amazing tool to demonstrate the emotional release process I was teaching in psychosomatic therapy. No analyzing, no story, just pure physical pain release. In the 10 day retreats I facilitated, group discussion was a huge component of the healing process. I added it to my YBR workshop. We roll and discuss the before and after effects and results.

Yamuna Body Rolling is emotional release on a ball. It emotionally and physically strengthens those who use it regularly. The results really caught my attention at a social event, when standing behind a woman. I didn’t even recognize this student I had known through several workshops. When I talked to her later that evening she was a chatty Kathy compared to the timid, quiet student who set her mat at the back of the room not wanting any attention on her. Over many texts and emails, she praised how much pain relief she was receiving from faithfully rolling, yet when I asked her to share her story she couldn’t.

This response happened with others and I wondered why. I learned that night that the trauma she experienced from domestic violence controlled her life. She had locked her beautiful bright spirit away to protect it from the outside world. She had been living in so much fear and now it all made sense to me.
She had literally rolled the physical pain from emotional trauma out of her physical body using the tools I shared with her. She eventually overcame her fears and started creating a new pattern that continues to reshape her life and her body.
I didn’t set out to be a teacher, I was only looking for solutions to the unexplainable physical and emotional pain that I used to carry almost every day.
When you first experience Yamuna Body Rolling, you might not realize how much pain you’ve been managing until it leaves.
